Dr Harold Ma Heng Ho
Dr. Harold Ma is the medical director of Freia group of Medical and Medi-spa clinics in Singapore and Malaysia. He graduated from NUS in 1999 and obtained his diploma in Dermatology from Cardiff, Wales. He is a member of SAM, ISHRS, AAHRS, FUE Europe and FUE Asia
Dr Ma is trained in general aesthetics, but he has a deep passion and special interest in hair transplant and hair restoration treatments. He is considered a key opinion leader in the field of hair restoration.
Dr Ma has been performing hair restoration procedures for over 15 years. He is a curious innovator and is constantly trying to push the envelope in using the latest and greatest technology, in tandem with improving his team's skill set and techniques. This also means he has a wide array of technology and machines by his side. He was one of the first in the region to change from FUT to FUE technique (2008), then introducing robotic hair transplant technology (2013), and most recently, long hair FUE.
He believes that pushing the boundaries safely and responsibly are the only way forward to help patients achieve their best and for doctors to stay relevant in this ever-evolving aesthetic field.
Dr Ma is regularly invited to local radio talkshows and international hair conferences to share his experience and expertise on hair treatments.
