Dr Shane Abucewicz Tan graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelors in Medicine and Surgery and later attained his post-graduate surgical membership at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh as well as his post-graduate diploma in clinical dermatology from Cardiff, UK. He has served in the executive committee of the Society of Aesthetic Medicine, Singapore, since 2019 where he now serves as the Honourary Secretary.
In aesthetic practice since 2015, Dr Shane currently runs his own practice in Singapore – Dr Shane | The Aesthetic Practice – since 2019. He has presented at multiple international conferences and has published articles on plastic and reconstructive surgery, basic science, and medical education.
Dr Shane takes particular interest in medical education of both the patient and colleagues, and endeavours to engage in a purposeful and patient-centric approach to practice and learning. He currently trains for several aesthetic companies, including Teoxane, MERZ, Fotona and Inmode.
