Dr. Sylvia Ramirez is a Harvard-trained, US Board Certified Medical Director of Cutis Medical Laser Clinics, a clinic that is based on the fundamentals of scientifically proven “evidence-based” treatments.
Dr. Sylvia is a nephrologist and epidemiologist by training at the Harvard Hospitals System (Honors) and was previously faculty at the National University of Singapore. She has published 100+ original research contributions while working in the United States as Vice President of a Health Policy Research group evaluating the outcomes of dialysis in multiple countries. She was principal investigator and project director for several Quality of Care Demonstrations projects for the US government and is a regular speaker for major international conferences on topics ranging from chronic disease, nephrology, health policy, public health and now also aesthetic dermatology.
Dr. Sylvia also served as the Chief Medical Officer for the Asia-Pacific Region for one of the largest hemodialysis companies where she oversees clinical quality in dialysis facilities in India, Malaysia, China, Taiwan and Singapore.
Dr. Sylvia and her team published 3 papers in aesthetics and she is also the lead investigator for an interventional study currently ongoing as well as a study on the Ethics of Medical Aesthetics.
As a multi-award-winning professional, she has also clinched the coveted title of Best Non-Invasive Facial Aesthetic and distinguished finalist for Best Non-Invasive Body Aesthetics at the esteemed AMWC Monaco, a testament to her unparalleled skill and innovation in the field.
Dr. Sylvia has earned her place on the prestigious Botox Global Advisory Board, representing the Asia-Pacific region with unparalleled distinction. Her remarkable achievements on this board showcase not only her exceptional abilities but also her status as the sole ambassador for the Asia-Pacific region, a testament to her unwavering commitment to pushing the boundaries of excellence.
